PROMOVET® EYE is a sterile veterinary-use eye drop with moisturizing properties, indicated for relieving ocular dryness and supporting corneal repair processes in horses.

It is ideal for maintaining the tear film and lubricating the ocular mucosa, and it also supports antibiotic and anti-inflammatory treatments in cases of corneal lesions of both traumatic and infectious origin.

COMPOSITION

Acetylcysteine, triethanolamine (buffer), methylcellulose, benzalkonium chloride, collagen, excipients q.s.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

COLLAGEN

The product contains α1 chains of recombinant type I collagen protein, which act as precursors of collagen — an essential component of animal tissues. Its proper function contributes to the normal restoration of ocular tissues, supporting healing processes.

ACETYLCYSTEINE

PROMOVET® EYE contains this derivative of the amino acid cysteine, known for its mucolytic and antioxidant properties, as well as for restoring the physiological tear film. It helps cleanse the cornea and supports ocular comfort during the healing phases. Additionally, it promotes the restoration of ocular tissues through its inhibitory activity on the enzyme collagenase.

WARNINGS

Before and after using PROMOVET® EYE, it is recommended to wash your hands thoroughly. During application to the animal’s eye, avoid direct contact between the bottle and the damaged tissue.
